Golden Core Cultivation (canon power)

By cultivating the spiritual energy of his so-called Golden Core, Zixuan gains the following abilities:

1. Enhanced healing/vitality - He can heal about 4x faster than a mediocre human, and live 4x as long (assuming nothing kills him first).
   
2. Enhanced strength/speed/reflexes - He can use this, coupled with his martial arts training, to leap long distances through the air (think Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), dodge sword attacks, and lift grown men off the ground.
   
3. Spiritual cleansing - Cultivators use their abilities to put evil spirits and ghosts to rest.
   
4. Special sword techniques - Zixuan can use his sword to send out shockwaves of spiritual energy, and also to fly long distances through the air by standing on it like a surfboard.
   
5. Talismans - Trained cultivators can create talismans out of small pieces of paper with writing on them that create certain effects, such as starting a fire, calming a raging zombie, or warding away evil spirits.
   
6. Qiankun pouch - Basically a bag of holding. A small pouch which is able to fit larger items inside. Nothing living can go in the pouch.

Money Can Buy You Everything (non-canon power)

By spending money, Jin Zixuan can gain advantages in different situations. This ability takes a few different forms, comparable to the following D&D spells:

1. Calm Emotions - He can suppress the strong emotions of all people in a 20 foot radius (those with a strong will can resist), and dissolve all feelings of fear or animosity. He can make his targets indifferent to people they previously felt hostile towards. This effect lasts half an hour.
   
2. Charm Person - He can focus the ability on one person who was previously indifferent to him, and make them behave as if they are a friendly acquaintance, willingly helping him or giving him whatever he asks for. This effect lasts one hour and at the end, the target will know they have been charmed.
   
3. Modify Memory - He can affect one target's memory of an event that they experienced within the last 24 hours and that lasted no more than 10 minutes. He can permanently eliminate all memory of the event, allow the target to recall the event with perfect clarity and exacting detail, change their memory of the details of the event, or create a memory of some other event. The new memory he creates must make logical sense to the target, or else they will dismiss it as some sort of wild dream. He can't give someone the memory of riding a unicorn into space, as an example.

He has no real interest in leadership. He's mostly just there to protect his wife and those close to him.

⧓ BACKSTORY:

This Jin Zixuan Ported into the Fractured World some years after his wife, Jiang Yanli, had already established herself with the Dawnseekers as a powerful and accomplished cultivator in her own right. As shocking as it was to see his wife in a position of power he was not used to seeing her in, her core personality hadn't changed a bit, so they easily fell into something resembling their old routine. He joined the Dawnseekers formally to be with her, and used his newly granted abilities to help ensure peace within the ranks.

Unlike MoM-verse Jin Zixuan, this version comes from a later canon point, right at the point of his death. The knowledge that there is nothing left waiting for him back in his home universe weighs on him, and motivates him to throw all his effort into making this world a better place to spend the rest of his life in.
